Village Hall News (November 2020)
Unfortunately due to COVID the village hall committee have had to put the hall under lockdown. This is a great shame as some of our classes were just starting again. However, as soon as we are able, Littlethorpe Village Hall will re-open.
We are continuing to keep on top of the jobs that are required to keep our hall in good order.
On behalf of the village hall committee, we would like to take this opportunity of wishing you all a Happy, Peaceful and Healthy Christmas.
Take care and keep safe.
Secretary, Littlethorpe Village Hall
Village Hall Phased Re-opening (August 2020)
We have carried out the necessary risk assessment and followed all the advice in order to open our hall.
At present we are carrying out a phased return, trying to see how things could work out for the various classes who use the hall. We are pleased to say that so far this has been successful with karate and pilates classes taking place.
We would like to thank our County Councillor for his support by way of a Locality Grant to help towards providing the necessary items required to comply with Covid regulations.
Thanks also to Ian Horner for all his help with the signs and heater guards.
Hopefully, during September, we will be able to report all our classes are up and running.
The Village Hall Committee hopes everyone will keep well and safe.
Village Hall Secretary

Drinks and nibbles were served by Chris Burley and Ian Seeger-Horner before the meeting. Angela Seeger-Horner (Chair) opened the meeting by thanking everyone for coming. The election of officers saw two changes; Christopher Orme is taking over the position of treasurer from Wendy Hunton and John Downes is also joining the committee. The issue of hire charges was discussed and the decision was taken to review hire conditions at the next committee meeting.
