The Entertainments Committee organises a range of social events on a regular basis. Events in the past have included country and western evenings, BBQs, 60s nights, quizzes, games evenings, fine dining, themed evenings e.g. Caribbean, murder mysteries, hog roasts and ceilidhs.

Roundabout
Roundabout is the parish magazine for Littlethorpe, Sharow, Copt Hewick and Marton-le-Moor. It is printed monthly and distributed mainly to subscribers between Nunwick and Littlethorpe, Marton-le-Moor, Copt Hewick, Sharow, Ure Bank and Ripon. Annual subscriptions may be arranged with the editor. The cost is £10 for 12 issues.

Ripon Motor Boat Club
Ripon Motor Boat Club was established in 1931 and is one of the largest inland water boat clubs in the England. The club has a clubhouse with bar, showers, and toilet facilities.
It is also a training centre and runs a number of courses.
